Children’s materials are thought to be just fun and games, but they often explore ideas of education and morality. Join Special Collections for this nostalgic exhibit that features childhood items from as early as 1740 to the present day. You can explore the history of some of the world’s most popular characters, and learn about board games from the 1800s.

The exhibit will be on display in the Sarah T. Hughes Reading Room from August 26 through December 13, 2019.

The reception for this exhibit will be held September 26 from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. in the Sarah T. Hughes Reading Room and will feature some kid friendly treats and take away activities that are fun for kids of all ages.

Please note: The Sarah T. Hughes Reading Room is open from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. We are closed on Saturday and Sunday.
