A number of funding agencies including the National Science Foundation (NSF), National Institute of Health (NIH), and National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) now require grant seekers to include a Data Management Plan (DMP) with their research proposals.
A DMP is a supplementary document that describes how you will collect, manage, and disseminate your research results over the course of the proposed project.
For information on funding agency requirements, and access to resources for creating DMPs, including the DMPTool, see our [Data Management Guide].
