Overview
The UNT Digital Library houses materials from the University’s research, creative, and scholarly activities, and also content from the UNT Libraries’ collections. Our goal is to make UNT materials readily available for research, and most are accessible to a worldwide audience. Due to licensing agreements or other concerns, access to some items may be restricted to the UNT community.
About Partnering
We are always happy to work with members of the UNT community, and we already host a variety of projects. Some examples are:
- Grant-related materials such as Documenting Plate Waste in Middle School Cafeterias Using Digital Still Photography and the Joseph Britton Freshwater Mussel Collection.
- Journals and technical reports connected with UNT faculty or departments such as JAC, Journal of Near-Death Studies, and the University of Chicago Laboratory of Molecular Structure and Spectra Technical Reports
- Departmental newsletters and publications such as the Call Number and the College of Music publications
- Materials from conferences hosted by UNT such as Digital Frontiers, the UNT Research Symposium on African Studies, and the Cross Timbers Library Collaborative
- Other collections of research or creative materials such as the Professor Ray Gough slide collection
Each project is different, and we ask that you contact us to discuss the specifics related to your materials. This is especially important if you are considering a grant project.
We also have general guidelines for organizing your digital files that may be helpful before submitting items to the Digital Library.
