Publishing subventions for Aquiline Books authors
PAGE CONTENTS 1 minute read.
While no subventions (grants to be used towards fees for publishing with Aquiline Books) are currently available from the UNT Libraries, we encourage you to seek other sources of funding, both at UNT and outside the institution, including through crowdsourcing (see a campaign for a book published by another university library). If your book manuscript is eligible for funding from the Fellowships Open Book Program from the National Endowment for the Humanities or a Furthermore grant from the J.M. Kaplan Fund, the UNT Libraries would be happy to work with you on an application to this program to fund publication of your book.
Note that UNT Policy 08.003 (Research Intellectual Property) assigns to the university copyright in certain works created at the university or with grant funding. To determine whether this applies in your situation, submit an online disclosure to Research Commercial Agreements.
