Overview
Descriptions of collections and partners make it possible for users to browse The Portal to Texas History and the UNT Digital Library using the “Explore” feature. Well-crafted descriptions help you showcase your institution or department and attract users to your most interesting and important materials. In order to keep descriptions web-friendly, consistent, and working well with our interfaces, please follow these basic guidelines for their construction.
Collections
To facilitate browsing, each collection should have a short description and a representative image (collection icon). Collections may also have an additional long description providing greater detail about the collection and its context.
