Thanks to the following granting agencies for their generous support of our digital projects:
Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS)
As a partner in the Texas Heritage Digitization Initiative (THDI), the
UNT Libraries’ Portal to Texas History has partnered with the Texas
State Library and Archives Commission (TSLAC) for the grant, “Train
to Share: Interoperability Training for Cultural Heritage Institutions.”
TSLAC is the lead organization for the three-year project to develop
state-wide workshops, adapted from the Library of Congress “Cataloging
for the 21st Century” series, to provide training on interoperability
measures of digitization projects, and principles of sharable metadata
developed in a project previously funded by IMLS.
