As a depository for U.S. federal and Texas state publications, the UNT Libraries’ Government Documents Department provides reference assistance to UNT students, faculty, and staff, as well as to the general public.
Assistance can be provided in person, over the telephone, through E-mail, or through snail mail.
We can provide you with the following types of reference assistance:
- Strategies and sources for finding information on a specific topic
- Information about indexes, online databases, and other research tools
- Information about the Libraries’ holdings
We cannot provide legal, medical, business, or tax advice, nor do we provide statistical data over the phone or through e-mail; but we can direct you to the appropriate sources of such information.
