Bookplate of Richard D. Urlin
Remains of bookplate of Richard Denny Urlin.

This first edition of Orrery's Remarks was at one time the property of author and lawyer Richard Denny Urlin (1830-1907) of Middle Temple.  The remains of his armorial bookplate/ex libris can be seen inside the front cover of the book.    The boar's head is surounded by a ribbon with the Latin motto "Nec Temere Nic Timide", which translates as "Neither Rashly nor Timidly".

At one point, the book was sold through an Irish dealer in Dublin, W. A. Hinch.  The stamp of this firm can be seen on the front free end paper.
