When received by the Libraries, the bookplate of John Carver was affixed inside the front cover.  Investigation revealed the presence of an earlier bookplate beneath the Carver bookplate.  Removal of the Carver bookplate revealed the original presentation inscription on a bookplate with the arms of the ship.  Book was given to P.A.
