A traffic specialist and a "city walkability" expert will work with the people of South Lake Tahoe to improve pedestrian conditions around the community. The city council agreed to pursue funding for the prospect of installing sidewalks, curbs, gutters, and pedestrian lighting to make the area, which is estimated to cost a total of about $4 million.
