12-minute videotape, Understanding Superpave Mix Design, was produced jointly
by the National Asphalt Pavement Association (NAPA) and the Federal Highway
Administration (FHWA). A new videotape provides a step-by-step look at the Superpave mix design process. Topics covered include: materials selection, aggregate blending, specimen preparation, the Superpave gyratory compactor, and mix analysis.
The

Copies are being distributed to FHWA division and regional offices, State SHRP coordinators, the Superpave regional centers, and the Local Technical Assistance Program centers.
