NCARC Announces First Public Hearing

Washington D.C. - The National Civil Aviation Review Commission will be holding its first public hearing on Wednesday, May 28th at 9:30 am at the U.S. Department of Commerce Building Auditorium, at 14th and Constitution Avenue N.W. Those planning to attend must enter through the main entrance in the center section of the building on 14th Street. The Commission is soliciting comments and suggestions from the public regarding the issues surrounding future financing and budgeting of Federal Aviation Administration activities.

The Commission is charged with considering future budget needs and appropriate financing mechanisms as well as suggesting productivity improvements. The Commission was created by Congress as part of the Federal Aviation Reauthorization Act of 1996.
