About this Event

If you have ever wanted to research an unfamiliar topic, the chances are high that you looked to a book to provide more information on the subject. Learning more about fellow humans mustn’t be so different.

UNT’s Human Library offers a safe and supportive space to help you learn. By attending the Human Library, you can look through a catalog just as you would in a traditional library, select a book that you are interested in, and sit down with the book to read by having a conversation with the person representing the title.

After engaging in these conversations, we hope that you will gain empathy for and awareness of another person’s reality. Confirmed book titles for the 2019 Human Library include:

  • Polyamorous
  • English Subject Librarian
  • Pagan
  • Twin Journey: Marine or Artist
