About this Event

Believe it or not, one of the best ways to decompress while preparing for finals week is making something from scrap! You can give this stress reliever a try with our Crafty Stress Relief event at Eagle Commons Library on Tuesday, May 1 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Annie Morrison from SCRAP Denton will host and you will be able to choose from two craft projects.

The first one will be weaving on a cardboard loom. You will have the opportunity to use some unconventional materials from SCRAP such as shoelaces, plastic bags, and black videotape to add some visually interesting elements to your yarn weaving.

The second project will be making bangle bracelets. You will start with a plastic drink lid as your initial form and then wrap various yarn or strips of fabric around it to disguise the lid as a bracelet.
